how durable is terrapeg?
Terrapeg is built to last. Because our furniture is made from 100% recycled wood fiber, the material can be structurally compared to solid wood and is stronger than natural wood because the wood grain runs in all directions.

is terrapeg made from particleboard?
No. Terrapeg furniture is made from fiberboard, 100% recycled wood fibers finely ground and molded into sheets.
Think of Terrapeg as man-made wood, without knots, faults or wood grain. |
What makes terrapeg furniture green?
Terrapeg eco-friendly furniture is made from 100% recycled wood fiber material that is custom cut using a computer that minimizes material waste.

is terrapeg waterproof?
While Terrapeg can be used outdoors, it is not waterproof. Terrapeg furniture however is water resistant and will not swell if left sitting on a mopped floor. Stay tuned though – we’ll be offering several of our designs in eco-friendly plastic specifically for outdoor use.

Our new patented Tool Free Joint reinvents a simple carpenter style joint with a locking peg that is very easy to assemble. Just follow simple instructions and tap these secure pegs into place with the included wooden hammer. |
can i take terrapeg apart?
You sure can.
We designed our furniture to go where you go. Simply knock the pieces apart without worry of stripping out screws or damaging furniture. Knock the pieces back together and they’ll look as beautiful as they did when you first put them together. |
what colors does terrapeg come in?
Terrapeg is available in 12 colors: white, coffee bean, chai, ready to finish and eight Valchromat® colors (red, yellow, orange, green, blue, purple, grey and black).
Valchromat is an eco-friendly colored wood fiberboard made from forest waste, residue from timber mills and recycled pine. The creation of Valchromat is equally environmentally friendly as there are zero carbon emissions during the manufacturing process. . |
